Two tabs. Log every stock movement on the Movements tab (deliveries in, sales or damage out). The Products tab adds them up into current stock, flags anything at or below its reorder point, and shows stock value.

What's in the template

Products tab

SKU, product, starting qty, total in, total out, current stock, reorder point, status, unit cost, stock value.

Movements tab

Date, SKU, type (IN or OUT), quantity, note.

White cells are inputs. Green cells are formulas, so don't type over them. Sample rows are included so you can see how it works. Delete them and add your own.

How to use it

  1. List each product with its starting quantity, unit cost and reorder point.
  2. On Movements, add a row for every delivery (IN) or removal (OUT).
  3. Use the exact SKU so the totals match up.
  4. Check the Status column for anything marked REORDER.
  5. If you sell on Shopify, Shopify already tracks sales. Use this for stock outside Shopify or as a backup.

Current stock = starting qty + total IN − total OUT

Do I need this if I use Shopify?

Shopify tracks stock as you sell, so for most stores the main gap is planning, not tracking. This sheet is useful for materials, packaging or stock you hold outside Shopify.

Does it work in Google Sheets?

Yes. SUMIFS works the same in Google Sheets. Import the .xlsx file with File, Import, Upload.
